Crane Supervisors
The Crane Supervisor ensures all other members of the team are working safely and complying with all necessary regulations.
Present at all times, they will co-ordinate all lifting activities in accordance with your requirements, ensuring the process is carried out efficiently, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Slinger Signallers
Slinger Signallers are the man on the ground, being an extra pair of eyes and ears for the crane operator, whose view is obstructed by buildings and other obstacles.
They communicate via the means of hand signals to the crane operator, ensuring all loads are lifted, moved and set down safely.
Crane Operator
All of our Crane Operators are fully trained and qualified, and operate regularly serviced cranes of all sizes.
Appointed Person
The Appointed Person takes charge of the execution and safety of all lifting operations. This person may also take the role of a Crane Operator or other role. They ensure that all lifting operations are meticulously organised and planned by a ‘competent person’ under the BS 7121 Code of Practice for Safe Use of Cranes. Approval of risk assessments, lift categorisation and method statements are all carried out by the Appointed Person.
